Enterprise Green Communities has been advancing healthier, more efficient, and more resilient affordable housing for more than 20 years. The 2026 Green Communities Criteria builds on that legacy with updated guidance focused on three core themes: energy, health, and resilience.

Report Kitchen built the new Green Communities Criteria and Certification website as an interactive resource hub. Visitors can browse the full 2026 Criteria, review the checklist, access certification guidance, find tools and templates, and explore supporting resources. The site includes dynamic filtering by construction type, location, and theme. As visitors make selections, the checklist updates to show which mandatory criteria and optional points apply to their project. This helps users focus on the information that matters to them instead of sorting through a static PDF or one-size-fits-all manual.
