The Colorado Affordable Housing Toolkit for Local Officials was created to promote innovative solutions to the development of affordable housing across the state of Colorado. Alongside virtual and in-person trainings, the toolkit is intended to improve the ability of local officials to understand and respond to the unique sets of housing challenges their communities are facing.

The Toolkit presents case studies, recorded versions of the trainings and an inventory of promising solutions to common housing challenges.

The online toolkit presents over 150 different topics relating to housing policy, funding, homeowner support, and more.

Organized in an easy-to-use navigation menu, the resources are easy to skim and scan, which UX research shows is how most people read online.

A toolkit is only a tool if people use it
